My good friend is having a house warming party this weekend for his new place in the city. With the high temperatures, I couldn’t help but think of summer party inspirations! I doubt he will make this much of an effort, but hopefully this will inspire him and you!

I have recently been trying to decorate and add life to my decor with flowers. I do not (repeat DO NOT) have a green thumb. I am working on taking care of a few potted plants outside, but I also can’t resist the ease and beauty of freshly cut flowers.

Peonies are my absolute favorite and hydrangeas are a close second, but they are both very difficult to maintain and expensive to buy often.
